Human Hair Wig Care Guide

Proper care helps your BONANZA human hair wig keep its softness, lace finish, color, and shape for longer. Always treat lace and colored hair gently.

Before Wearing

  • Gently shake and finger-comb the wig before styling.
  • Use a wide-tooth comb or wig brush, starting from the ends and working upward.
  • For glueless wigs, adjust the strap or band before wearing so the fit feels secure but not tight.

Washing

  • Wash only when needed, usually after product buildup or repeated wear.
  • Use sulfate-free shampoo and lukewarm water.
  • Do not scrub the lace. Smooth shampoo through the hair gently.
  • Condition the mid-lengths and ends. Avoid heavy conditioner directly on lace knots.
  • Rinse well and blot with a towel. Do not twist or wring the wig.

Drying

  • Air dry on a wig stand whenever possible.
  • Keep the wig shape smooth while drying.
  • Avoid sleeping in wet hair because friction can create tangles.

Heat Styling

Human hair wigs can usually be heat styled, but heat should still be used carefully. Apply heat protectant first and use a moderate temperature. Frequent high heat can dry the hair over time.

Curly and Water Wave Care

  • Use fingers or a wide-tooth comb instead of brushing dry curls.
  • Refresh curls with water and a light leave-in conditioner.
  • Let curls air dry to preserve the pattern.

Colored Wig Care

  • Use color-safe shampoo.
  • Wash with cool or lukewarm water.
  • Limit strong heat on blonde, highlight, and burgundy colors.
  • Store away from direct sunlight to help reduce color fading.

HD Lace Care

  • Handle HD lace gently because it is thin and delicate.
  • Cut lace slowly with small scissors.
  • Remove makeup or lace tint carefully after wear.
  • Do not pull hard on the lace hairline when removing the wig.

Storage

Store your wig on a wig stand or in a silk/satin bag. Keep it clean, dry, and away from heat, sunlight, and heavy pressure.
