Measure your head before choosing a wig cap, then compare those measurements with the exact product. A hairstyle photo can help you choose a look, but it cannot tell you whether a cap will fit. The words adjustable, glueless, and pre-cut describe features; they are not a substitute for cap measurements.
This guide helps you prepare a clear fit inquiry before ordering a BONANZA wig. It does not assign a small, medium, or large size, and it is not a BONANZA cap-size chart.

Start with a soft measuring tape
Use a flexible tape that follows the shape of your head. Check which side shows inches and which shows centimeters. Keep the unit beside every result so a number cannot be mistaken for the other unit. Have a mirror and somewhere to write your measurements.
Note how you plan to arrange your own hair under the wig. Include that information when asking about fit, rather than sending a measurement without any context. If a measuring point is unclear, ask for clarification before treating the result as final.
Record three measurements
Circumference: Start at the front hairline, take the tape around the head following the hairline toward the nape, and return to the starting point. Record the complete loop, not the distance across the forehead.
Front to nape: Measure from the front hairline along the middle of the head, over the top, to the hairline at the nape. Keep this separate from the circumference result.
Ear to ear: This measures across the top of the head between the hairline points above the ears, not around the back. Confirm the seller's exact top-of-head reference point before comparing this number with a chart.
These are general measuring categories described in Jon Renau's official measuring guide. Its size labels and chart belong to that brand; they are not BONANZA product specifications.
Keep a simple fit note
Write each result with its unit and repeat the measurement to check that you followed the same route. If two readings differ, check the placement instead of rounding to the size you hope to buy. You can send a short note like this:
- Product name and selected option: ______
- Circumference, including unit: ______
- Front to nape, including unit: ______
- Ear to ear, including unit and measuring route: ______
- How I plan to wear my hair underneath: ______
- Previous fit concern, if any: ______
Lace area is not cap circumference
The current BONANZA Natural Black Short Curly Bob Wig lists 5*5HD and 13*4HD choices under Lace Type. Those labels describe lace options, not the measurement around your head. Choosing a larger lace area does not establish that the cap itself is larger.
The product is listed with an adjustable, glueless-friendly cap and factory-pre-cut lace. It does not publish an exact cap-circumference range. Before ordering, ask BONANZA to confirm the current cap range and fit details for your selected Lace Type when fit is a concern. Do not assume the two lace options have identical cap measurements unless that has been confirmed.
What should you ask before buying?
Send your fit note with the product link and your intended Lace Type to owen@bonaze.com. Ask whether the current cap suits your measurements, what adjustment is available, and whether any additional measurement is needed. Wait for clarification when an essential fit detail is missing.
Requests beyond the listed variants need separate confirmation of specifications, price, and lead time. A request is not automatically an accepted custom order, and a measurement sent by email does not by itself change the item selected at checkout.
A final check before checkout
Keep the confirmed fit information with your order details and make sure you select the option you discussed. For the short curly bob, factory-pre-cut lace removes the customer lace-trimming step; it does not remove the need to check cap fit. Review the linked product's current details and settle the measurements before choosing your wig.
